Wide Open Spaces - manyfires[Flickr]

 Another image from my recent Palouse trip, this time taken just after sunrise. The sun was rising to the left of this frame, and as the light crept across the hill it lit up the tallest objects first - the balsamroot flowers in particular. I liked how their bright yellow heads seemed to dance out of the shadows.

Taken with my Nikon FM.
